I was reading Bram Stoker's Dracula and there was a term in there that I looked up and can't remember.?

It meant: "A school where satan has (some small amount) students learn the ways of magic and the one who graduates goes on to become his apprentice and fly dragons." WHAT IS THIS WORD haha or does anyone know what I'm talking about?
